‘Why did they take so long?’
The slow trickle of results has upset some voters in Pakistan.
“Why did they take so long? Why not announce results before 1am?” asked Ambreen Naz, 35, a businesswoman in Lahore.
“You know what will happen now? The stock market will open with volatile swings. The dollar will rise and the rupee will fall,” she was quoted as saying by AFP.
“All because they delayed the results and made them controversial.”

Northwards, the PTI looks set to consolidate its presence in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province having won so far 14 out 115 seats.
Similarly, the PPP is also stamping its mark in its stronghold province of Sindh, where it has secured 11 out of 130 seats.
Meanwhile, results are yet to be announced in Balochistan province more than 13 hours since polls closed.
